CHOREOGRAPHY
I value classical technique for strength and stability within the work; in junction with the emergence of the personal element. I’m compelled to push the boundaries of technique and comfort levels within dancers, boundary-less performers. Although my movement qualities may focus on form and velocity, my point of convergence is to transcend barriers. I choreograph contemporary pointe to jazz fusion.
I use rhythms and musicality within my work, representative of jazz; as well as a strong sense of aesthetic representative of classical ballet, while connecting with the narrative of theatre.
